The Great Success of a TGU Student in an International Competition

TGU Electrical and Electronics Engineering preparatory class student Yavuz Bülent Yurduseven attended The 2022 Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF). He was deemed worthy of the Grand Prize which is awarded to the top 4 in the Mathematics category and finished the 3rd place in the USA National Security Agency Research Award.

The Regeneron ISEF is held in various cities of the USA and organized by the Society for Science & the Public with many corporate and academic sponsors. The 2022 competition took place in Atlanta, Georgia with 1750 students from 63 countries participating with 1140 projects.

In the 2204-A High School Students Research Projects Competition, which has been organized by TUBITAK for 53 years, the participating projects had to through preliminary evaluation, regional evaluation, final evaluation and the determination of the participants in international project competitions.

This year, 13 projects represented our country in the Regeneron ISEF Competition. Three projects received the special prize and four received the Regeneron ISEF Grand Prize. 

We congratulate our student who participated in the competition and was successfully award a special and a grand prize for representing our country in the international arena and wish him continued success.
