Our University Welcomed New Students with an Orientation Program 2024-2025

Academic Year Orientation Program for New Students was held on September 30, 2024. It was held in the D Block Conference Hall of our University Classrooms Building with the participation of Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Aysel Uzuntaş, faculty members, administrative staff and students. The Orientation Program, which attracted great interest from our students, started with the opening speech of Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Aysel Uzuntaş. The Vice Rector highlighted the points that the students should pay attention to during the adaptation process to university life. She also made various suggestions for them to improve themselves by adapting to their education plans.

Within the scope of the program, a detailed introductory presentation about the structure and facilities of our University was made by our Press and Public Relations Coordinatorship. While our Director of the School of Foreign Languages, Prof. Dr. Leyla Coşan was giving information about the preparatory class and exam processes; Our Student Affairs Department provided comprehensive information about the general functioning of student affairs processes. Campus life, student communities, social activities, accommodation and transportation issues were discussed by our Department of Health, Culture and Sports. A part-time student tutoring program was also included. After our Library and Documentation Department informed our students about the library collection, digital resources and book borrowing procedures, our International Relations Coordination Department made a detailed presentation about international opportunities and connections such as Erasmus+, Mevlana and double degree programs.

After the presentations, the program ended with a question-answer session.
