Courtroom Inaugurated at the Faculty of Law

The Faculty of Law at our university inaugurated its new courtroom, located in the Social Sciences Building, with a ceremony held on December 11, 2024. Our Rector, Prof. Dr. Cemal Yıldız; Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Aysel Uzuntaş, Prof. Dr. Hamide Özden Özkaya Ferendeci, and Prof. Dr. Ali Gökhan Yavuz; as well as faculty members, administrative staff, and students took part in this event.
During the ceremony, our Rector emphasized that the new courtroom would contribute significantly to the development of students' professional skills and bring a practical dimension to legal education. He expressed his gratitude to everyone involved in the project.
As part of the event, Faculty of Law students conducted a mock trial, allowing them to experience a courtroom setting firsthand. By assuming the roles of lawyers, judges, and prosecutors, the students had the opportunity to reinforce their theoretical knowledge through practical application.
