Academic Gowning Ceremony Held to Present Our Faculty Members' New Academic Titles

An Academic Gowning Ceremony was held on December 11, 2024 to celebrate the promotion of several faculty members at our university. The honourees included Murat Hamderi from the Faculty of Engineering, who received the title of Professor; Ahmet Onur Pehlivan, who was promoted to Associate Professor; and Mustafa Erkam Özateş, Merve Teke Budaklı, and Erdem Onur Özyurt, who were appointed as Assistant Professors. From the Faculty of Law, Anıl Köroğlu and Murat Sarıkaya received the title of Associate Professor. Additionally, Mehmet Soytürk and Sevgin Batuk Ünlü from the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences were promoted to Associate Professor.
Our Rector, Prof. Dr. Cemal Yıldız, Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Aysel Uzuntaş and Prof. Dr. Hamide Özden Özkaya Ferendeci, Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences Prof. Dr. Elif Nuroğlu, Director of the School of Foreign Languages Prof. Dr. Leyla Coşan, Dean of the Faculty of Science Prof. Dr. Yunus Ziya Arslan, and Faculty of Engineering faculty member Prof. Dr. Mukden Uğur attended the ceremony.
During the event, Rector Yıldız congratulated the faculty members receiving their gowns and wished them continued success in their new roles. The ceremony concluded with the presentation of congratulatory certificates to the honorees, followed by a group photo session to commemorate the occasion.
